We were playing 8 on 8, leaving 4 on defense I took off to the right with three people.  The other guy went left, the two guys with me had never gone paintballing before so I was kind of showing them how to walk the ropes.  I saw another 3 guys doing the same thing we were in the thin brush.  We started capping off rounds and the 3 of them took off back to their base, I ran foward when they were gone.  I signed for the other two to move up, but they must not of seen it.  I worked along the edge of the field untill I saw the flag, which wasn't far from where I started.  Crawling behind a couple of large mounds in the ground I made my way, I saw one person about 40 feet away and was confident I was undetected.  after I completed my crawl I was between the 1st and 2nd mounds 35 feet from the guy I saw.  Now this game was in early fall and leaves were everywhere.  I crunched a few, but I never believed it was loud enough to give me away.  I neared the top and prepared to snipe him with my get this...my stock barrel....  But when I peered over the edge of the mound all that could of been seen 5 feet away was 2 wide eyes, and a spyder.  It was like the Matrix, as a matter of fact I was listening to spybreak through my ultra cheap tape player.  We were running around each other for a few seconds.  Finaly I dove down where I had began and looked up to see him and 3 other guys literally dive head first into a bunker about 30 yards away.  I set my hand on a tree and laid my gun across it.  One by one I saw a little bit of head stick out and would pick them off.  After I got three of them, the other guy gave up declaring, "You fight like a bitch."  I smiled and took the flag, feeling invincible I jogged back the way I came only this time I saw someone running parallel to me.  I started shooting and so did he, without even knowing it I charged out into the open  right between my remaining 3 guys and their 4.  Like a sceen out of the Godfather I got totally wasted, but my friends said it looked like a "blaze of glory."

It was at a place in Bellfountain Ohio, the first commercial field I had been to, and back then I only had my stingray.  The game was defend in which I was on the attacking team attacking a wooden shack.  We had to take a little shack on top of this hill which was being defended by the hole team.  By the time I started to shine there were only three of them.  One kid and a coouple of cocky brothers.  I snuck in around the side and with my stingray I marked the oldest of the two.  He started freaking out and was pissed when he saw were I was  It wasn't hard since he was walking around out in plane sight thinking he was all that.  The fact that I went undetected in a fairly open woods was the best.  Boy was he pissed.
first out

During my very first day of playing in the last game, our team had been pushed back to our base and surrounded.  We had about 8 remaining players within our perimeter, defending against 20 enemy players.  I ran out of paint and using my stealth and a lot of friendly cover fire I slipped out of the base and dashed off the field to run for more paint.  A few minutes later, I approached my base slowly, realizing the firing had stopped.  All of a sudden, the guys in my base opened up on me!  I went down hit the back, neck
and legs almost 10 times.  It was my first time being hit.  The neck shot had almost suffocated me, I couldn't breathe and I was dizzy.  The shots to my legs and back had disabled me, I felt like I couldn't walk even though I probably could.  I just laid there gasping for air.  Unfortunately, my escape route was on the edge of the field and there were no refs nearby.!  When I finally got up, I walked back to the safety zone to find out what had happened.  Another of my team members who had been eliminated shortly after I
left told me what had happened.  It seemed that three newbies on my team had formed an alliance and were scared to get hit, so they betrayed us and took out the rest of my team while I was gone, but to no avail because the enemy were still firing on them.  They had finally tried to surrender when they saw me and gunned me down.  I was extremely angry and sadly there were no more games left in the day for revenge.  To this day I have not avenged my pain!

One time at my local field about 2 years ago, I played a woods game in which i flanked the enemy and hid on the edge of the field.  Now in this game, a local Amateur team was participating. (I am on a team now, but this was back in my early newbie days)  All of a sudden their team leader came sprinting towards me and jumped into a foxhole.  I sprang up immediately, letting loose
a 3-round burst from my rental Piranha.  He was taken completely by surprise and was out.  I then moved on to another bunker, where I had a perfect view of an enemy hiding behind a bunker.  I immediately shot him, the ball hitting him squarely in the back, but he didn't see me or call himself out.  I shot himself twice more, but he still wouldn't go out.  Instead he tried to wipe the paint off. Visions of punishment danced through my head as I opened up. After a dozen more shots, he finally called himsel! f out, and throughout the whole thing he never saw me.  I moved up yet again to find out I had taken out all of their left flank guards.  Now I was among them, and after I removed 2 more men out of their ranks, the confusion subsided and they realised what was happening.  I was fired upon from 3 sides, and began firing back, taking out one more man.  All of a sudden, my gun reported a loud tat-a-tat-tat-tat.  I was out of air, but they still kept firing.  I called myself out, still without taking any hits.  As I walked to the safety zone, 3 of my own team mistook me for a patrolling enemy and ambushed me.  As soon as I got back up, I had a few welts on my legs.  Not bad hough, for my second day playing, I had 5 eliminations under my belt.  After my performance, I had found something I was good at.

This was the second time i had played and I had my pro/carbine :) I'm glad too.  It was an elimination game, it was 30 on 30, the place was huge.  We started out at a creek.  We had to wade through then run like hell for cover.  There was a steep hill with several bunkers on top to the right.  I went up leading 3 guys(I really have no idea why they followed me).  We got about half way and we saw most of our guys (about 20 guys) had gone through the ravine.  The ravine was about 100 feet away.  Then suddenly we came
under fire by 10 people!!(I later found out).  Me and this other guy with a cocker took out 3 guys that rushed us immediately.  1 guy behind us took off down the hill.  I saw my friend down in the ravine behind a bunker.  I shot 3 times but, he got down in time.  I ended up hitting the guy next to him in the neck(my friend told me later).  My friend popped up and fired like 20 rounds and hit the guy next to me in the hand.  He left and I started yelling around making it sound like 15 people were up there.  I kept shooting at them and I finally got hit in the hopper!!!  What a way to die!  Man i was mad.  But, we held the hill long enough for our team to get through the ravine and climb the hill.  That was the best game i had played...

This was my first day of paintball with my procarbine...so I was still use to my Rebel but o well.......anyway......My friends and I were
playing some backyard ball....It was three on three.....my team was made up of me(duh).....my friends 40 year old dad who had never played a game in his life...and a buddy of mine named Eric who is a speed ball freak....the other team had 3 well second players who all liked wood land.  Well, the game started and my friends dad got out in less than...and im serious....20 seconds! The other guy just took off through the woods and killed shot him!  So it was me and the speedball guy verses the three seasoned players well...my riend shot one of there guys and so we were even...i went up the right "tape" if u will to get a piece of the action while my friend went up the left side....what we didn't know was that the other 2 guys were on the left side.....my friend got shot.....it was 2 to one.......well I ran to that side as soon as I heard the shots fired...the two enemies were crouching in a little open space while I was behind a wood pile near them....I figured now or never......I charged in guns a a blazing and scared them so bad one of them fell down!.....I mediately seized the advantage and shot him in the butt!...LOL It was so funny!  The other guy ran off.....about a min. later I saw a moving hadow walk towards the entrance to a trail I was on...as soon as  I saw his shutter I shot.....! shot and he was gone!.....It kicked
butt!...the pro/carbine kept me through the game!

This was the day that made me a Pro/Carb and PGP fan.I was playing at the indoor field in Las Vegas with the paintball clan I had joined. I was a new member, and not very experienced on the field, but somehow, I had ended up with rank. I was basically in charge of a squad of five other guys. These dudes trusted me, as I found out before the end of the day. In our first game, we were scouting... which meant we were advancing and retreating all over the place and putting ourselves in the line of fire for the rest of the team just to go back and tell everyone where the action was. I was using a Pro/Carb with a PGP forbackup, and the other guys all had Spyder L's. I was surprised at how I'd managed to survive that whole game without being hit. But, it was the next game that made me a paintball addict... now we were to secure points on the field, and spearhead the bunker rush. In the first five minutes, half my team went down. I was now the ranking member, after our team captain got hit, so it was all up to me. I a squad to the left, and two to the right, and my squad went up the middle.  I took two guys down with my Tippmann... then I heard the most awful sound in the world... a tell-tale
'pop!' that told me my tank O-ring had just called it quits. I ducked under cover to listen helplessly as my Co2 tank emptied into the air. Now, it was the PGP's turn... I shouldered my Pro/Carb, and drew the Sherridan... then we began advancing. I was out front, firing away with my little pump-action pistol, and ducking away to reload every eight shots. Somehow, I'd managed to last long enough to get my squad to the place we had planned to storm the final bunker from.  Two walls of aluminum siding made a narrow corridor down the left side of the field. We made our way through it to where the squad defending the left side was. I asked how many of the other side were left. The leader of the other squad told me to expect 7 guys armed with Angels and Cockers holed up in that bunker.  They'd already taken down half the guys on the right, and two guys from the left side squad. I decided it was time to end the game... the battle had already lasted over an hour. I ordered the other guys to lay down cover fire, then we ran screaming toward the bunker! When we reached the door, I presented myself, my PGP held at ready, and five Spyder barrels rested on my shoulders from the guys behind me. I demanded they surrender, but they opened up instead. So did we!  Somehow, not a single shot connected with me at all... all thier balls hit the sides of the doorway, and the front inside wall of the bunker. I took three guys with a single shot each, and my other guys were spraying away, thier muzzles inches away from my head.  The other team refused to stop firing at us, so we kept shooting until they stopped. We gave each of the seven guys in that bunker at least 20 welts a piece, and not a one of us was hit, miraculously. I became a legend that day.

It was just another day of paintball with me and my procarbine. me and 11 other friends went to the open lot to play some games. but what made it fun was the rain. the game started with six vs. six. me and my friend (who had a talon) went one direction while the 4 people on my team went another. with in 5 mins of the game i heard a huge fire fight so me and my friend hurried quickly to the scene but by the time we got there all of are team mates were shoot and the other team still had 6 players. i quickly made a surprise attack and took out three of them, then me and my friend retreated to the hills. from there we just sat and waited at the bottom for them to peek there head over the hill then we would shoot them. finally one person made it to the top and my friends talon didn't shoot because of the mud we were in. but the mud didn't stop my gun i lifted out and covered him in paint. now the odds were 1 Vs 2 then i heard everyone say new game as i climbed the hill to see why they called it  i found out that the other 2 players gun wouldn't fire because mudd got in there gun so they had to clean it (they had spyders).well i have been very proud of my pro/carbine since that day. if i didn't have my procarbine  my gun would of froze up to.

One time when I was playing in the KC Crusader 24 hour game, a local paintball event where we play one very long game when if you get hit you go off the field, wipe off the paint, chronograph your gun and your back in. This game has 400+ players in it and the field consists of 5 or 6 fields together. Well, this was my first time using my Pro/Carbine in action and I had a stock barrel on it. Me and about 9 teammates were patroling and area of one of the fields when we got ambushed from our side where enemies were crossing the river. 3 of us were shot, so the rest of us fell back. Well one of my freinds went to flank them and surrendered a couple and shot a
couple more, but they were coming at full force with 20+ players, so I saw he really needed help and was under heavy fire, well, other than a few small fire fights I hadn't realized the greatness of my carbine. I then popped out and laid down fire in bushes where I could see enemy fire coming from, then 3 dead enemies came out. So I started to push some, as the rest of my teammates did likewise a few were shot along with a few more enemies, so it was me, my freind and about 3 other teammates against atleast 10 with more
enemies coming. Well my freind is very experienced and I knew he could hold off, but the rest of us were struggling, so I decided to see how my gun would work as a rushing tool, I then started running and shot a guy in the mask and survived to cover closer to the enemy. Well me and freind were on the right and a few more freindlies had come but at the same time more enemy came, and my team was getting pushed back on the left. Fortunate for me and my freind, the enemies hadn't realized how close we were and were
pushing past us and we stitched up their sides. But now the rest of the enemies were on our side, in bushes or crossing the river, out of our range. Well, my freind said we should fall back and hold our position there to wait for more friendlies, so I agreed, but on our retreat he was shot. So I was alone, and under heavy fire, I'm a person who can admit defeat, so as I thought of making a last chance kamikaze attack, a few more freindlies with cockers and such came. I held my position as they came and started pushing the enemy
back, so I decided to get some more action. I popped out and lit up a guy who was concetrating on my freinds, and we pushed em back to a point where they had 5 left on the river shore, right down a path, I couldn't see em but we knew where they were, so about 6 of us all started firing randomly until we took 3 out. one tried to flank us but the bushes were too thick and we lit him up. But we probly woulda never held that field if it wasn't for my now best freind Pro/Carbine.

Here in the Ozarks we play on private land, combat style, using police SWAT team tactics.  I am known among my group as the Guerilla Fighter".  On a cold January day, two teams made up of 2 Fire Depts and our local county Sheriff's dept.  Strategy is based on marker type.  I, of course, had the ProCarbine, which I consider a sawed off shot gun.In the 7th game of the day as Captain of my team we decided to bunker in.  After a long wait the enemy advanced.  A 4 star General of the enemy advanced to a tree by my bunker, looking at my bunker numerous times.  I decided to stay quiet and watch for his next move.  He turned at the tree, allowing his butt to stick out.  I layed my ProCarbine between two logs, took aim, and hit him in his spare pod belt, TAKING HIM OUT!  istening to the battle I heard gunfire to my right and left flank.  Not being able to stand being in the bunker I decided to do some uerilla fighting and ran straight up the middle of the field.  Seeing numerous enemy in the morgue, I went straight up to the enemy base.  One sniper in heavy cover started firing on me, I had two other team members with me.  One went down and I sent a medic to him.  A sniper started shooting at the medic when I decided to advance.  Yelling out with a war cry, I startled the enemy, allowing me to get within 20 feet and hit him in the left side, capturing the flag and WINNING THE GAME!  At the end of the game the enemy General declared "that damn ProCarbine got me again"!

It was my first game with my brand new Pro Carbine.  I was plaing at my friends field (my first time there too) the field is a little strange but its really cool, in the middle you have something like a speedball field, on the right there is a big steep hill, and on the left there is tons and tons of mountain lorale. We were playing a 6v6,  me and my buddy went onto the right side and took cover behinde some rocks, some kid with one of those new electronic spyders was going nuts on us, i poped up with my trusty PC and pined the guy down, that gave my buddy time to run down the hill and try to flank him.... he got to the bottom of the hill and began firing but couldnt hit him for shit, the tree was just too big, but he did manage to make the kid move to the right a few feet and i saw my chance.  I had about 15 shots left, and he was about 50 feet away, give or take. I fired 5 shots, 4 of them nailed him right in the ass! He left the field, the game went on and my team found itself victorious, after the game  had a chat with the kid, we went on for a few minutes and as we were walking away to start the next game i said "You should feel special, your the first person this baby has ever shot!" He fliped me off and that was the end of it.

One day I was playing paintball in a local junkyard with a group of about 14 people. We were about to play a game in which one nemy member from the opposing team was on each others team as a spy. no one knew who the spies were except the spies themselves because it was a 'draw from the hat' situation. Me and a buddy told eachother that we wern't spies and we should stick together. Each team was on opposite ends of the junkyard, about 600 feet away. Me and my buddy both had Model 98's by the way. At the start of the game we went to the left and all of the other members of our team went straight. We were going around a large hill that was about 25 feet tall and 100 feet long. We were only about half way around the hill, and not 1 minute into that game when on top of the hill came an enemy player. We hardly saw him out of the corner of our eye's before we were shot dead. He fired 6 shots from atop that hill, probably a good 50 feet away from us, in a split second. 3 of those shots hit me and the other three all hit my pal. We
didn't even have time to put our guns in the air before he ran off. We were amazed! The kid who shot us had a Pro Carbine with a 16" All American. I don't know how he could have fired that fast because his carbine had quite a stiff trigger! But anyway, I will never underestimate a carbine. even with a ten pound trigger pull.

We were playin 9 on 9 (All weekend Warriors)..Playing older kids verse the 9 younger ones..I was on the youngin team..at the time being 13..Game starts with the regular dumb kills..i take off with 2 comrades to sweep a far section of our course..i split up and am alone against 15 and 16 year olds..I take one of them and then retreat back to my teams defensive hill, report my kill and then notice a large group of enemies advancing on our left from atop another hill..since id been exploring those hills since i was little i took a squad of 3 a back route to assault the oncoming foes from behind, leaving an additional 2 players in bunkers on our hill..(and impetitrible 5 ft trench topped with a canopy overlooking a hill of ferns with little cover)..a victorious offensive at the time seemed impossible so i felt invulnerable leaving a small defense..Coming around the back or the assaulters i signal 2 kills and then move to the top of the dividing gully..All that stood between us were 2 spyders and an autococker 2k2..or so i thot..i sent 2 of my players back to round up our kills and then proceded towards the shots attacking our hill, taking my freind jeff along with his compact..10 yards ahead jeff proceeds caustiously..his gun raised..all of a sudden a burst of shots errupts from his right..in the sunlight i catch a glimpse of orange exploding off his mask.."im hit he shouted holding his head"..rasing his gun in surrender..by that time i was on the ground near a clump of trees..i saw 2 players move in on my freind..a tricked out 98 and an a-5..i take my chances and trust my pro carbine..firing no more than 6 shots both players have their hands rasied..i sprinted back to my hill and see a prisoner line marching in..waiting until they get to our hill i stay behind a thick tree..then seeing all their guns raised i walk into a clearing..next was a cheap and unfair act..dan marsella.. a newbie crouches behind a wooden bunker..puts his barrel through a 6 inch hole and lights up our mesa..4 instant kills and i dash to my tree..now the kids rich and has  a 16 inch bomstick on a 98 wth a low pressure chamber, regulator and all the goodies that come with a $400 98 custom..and he hits my gun..cheap as hell!..oh well the next game 2 other players and i were prone in a line behind a grove of oaks..when good ole danny walks into a clearing 30 feet away..we didnt stop shootin..lol..good times..

It was one of the first times I ever played paintball. It was darn cold. Everyone was having problems with there guns. Everyone had a Brass Eagle except for me, I was using my brand new 98. We were breaking paint like crazy but we kept on playing. I will never forget Tim.He was a High School kid that was on my team. Im a older guy who was just starting a paintball club. But the club was just starting then we had lots of High School kids playing with us. I told Tim to try and run and get the flag and I would cover him. He took off so fast I couldn't possibly keep up. We had about 10 players 5 on each side. I didnt see it but he ran straight up to the flag grabed it, and ran. There were 4 people defending the flag and started shooting like crazy. They must have been spraying paint like a waggner paint sprayer. He runs back to me and I grab the flag and take off running. I get about three steps up a killer steep hill and fall right on my back. I was just starting to realize my pain when Tim grabs the flag and runs like a deer up the hill. Im laying flat on my back in great pain, mask fogging up and freezing when the four defenders come round the corner to see me laying there. Needless to say but the balls were flying. I shot back for all I was worth but when I fell I think I broke paint in my hopper. But I did hold them back for a few very important seconds before looking like a rainbow. Tim thank the lord was up the hill and within a few minutes yelled victory. He never shot a ball, and he won the game. We did a very carefull paint check on him and he was clean. That day I learned a very important leason. Sometimes what it takes is lost of grit and heart. I was inspired that day by Tim. Unfortunatly he dosn't play anymore but I still do. Now I have a Pro Carbine and I still love the game. The name of the club is Heartland Paintball Club. I love this game and donate lots of time helping to inspire new players. We have over 30 players in the club now and still play every 2 weeks. I have lots of stories but that one will always stand out.

My best paintballing experience ever occured about a year ago at a virginia based paintball field known as pev's if youve heard. It was the last game of the session and the map was called Nazi Bunkers and was set up as patches of dense brush to the noth where the enemy stood and our Bunkers in thin woods to the south with all sorts of rocks and crags from the mountain stretch. But the game had begun and our troopers charged to find the closest bunkers to the enemy so we could button them whilst a select few of those of us with autos could swing around the side and flank the opponent. Me and one friend had rushed the forward bunker and with paint flying all around us I decided to wing a grenade at an enemy controlled bunker about 30-35 yards away. I told my ally to lay down some covering fire as I got ready to charge with my grenade and my pro carbine looking somewhat like G-man305's gun pic, but as
soon as he moved into position he was immediately lit up. At that point I was alone in a hotspot listening to all the newbs in the bunkers behind me whining and screaming to their friends "Ineed a cartrige", their term for a pmi tube. Oh man we had no chance, so I striped myself of all excess items, my camo, my tubes, etc, and pulled the pin on my grenade. I STUPIDLY CALLED OUT COVERING FIRE AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS AND CHARGED WITH MY PRO-C IN ONE HAND AND THE GRENADE IN THE OTHER. The enemy saw me comming and started firing, luckely they missed, and I heaved that grenade clearing the enemy bunker of 3 operatives. I thought I was in the clear, but as I began to turn around I had realized that our troops with autos had faild to flank the enemies in the northern brush, their troops spoted me on the run and lit me up head to toe with autocockers and angels, It hurt, but it felt soooo good!

Two weeks ago my family and some friends were playing paintball at my land, some 500 acres, it turned out to be the biggest and longest game I had played at the time.
The first game began with the opposing team (6 players) began their trek out into the playing field. My team (4 players) waiting the 15 minutes and began the "hunt" after them. We somehow passed them, neither team seeing or hearing the "enemy," and circled the entire area before finally after 1 hour and 25 minutes I finally spotted one running across an open field( yeah,  yeah, quite the dumbass) and took up pursuit. After I stopped and located 5 of their players I sent one of my men around to out flank them while my other teammates and I distracted them in an all out frontal assault with me at the head. I made it to an embankment but my teammates werent so lucky. I conviscated their ammo and attacked again drawing an un-godly amount of paintballs into my direction. Finally my last teammate, the one I sent around, opened up on them with his Tippman A-5 which needless to say made them forget about me for a little while.  With them distracted I snuck up not 20 feet from 2 of them and lit their asses up. Two down four to go. Not 5 minutes after words my other teammate got two of 'em. O.K. two left. I begin to make my way around when my last teammate
yells, " I'm hit.", so I dig myself in and wait..... and wait....... and wait until finally something moves in the hedgerow on the other side of the field, then a flash of a barrel, BINGO. He slowly begins his trek across the field and I know his buddy is providing cover from some concelled position. So I hold my fire until he gets about 30-35 feet away then I waste him. One left. I know I gave away my position when I fired so I relocateand wait.
It's now been 20 minutes since my last contact with the "enemy". I hear anoise, you know the kind of noise you think you hear but just can't be sure, yeah, that one. Well I don't move a muscle because by know where he is. Then, there, something moves. Then I see it. His face plate along with a barrel I'm looking strait down. POOK! I fire and look just in time to see his face mask spider web and disapear in an explosion of red and pink.GAMEOVER.
